H-Series Hydrogen Generator
Hydrogen generation for fuel cell systems providing extended run backup power.
The H-Series Hydrogen Generator product line makes delivered hydrogen obsolete. The H-Series produces hydrogen on-demand, on-site, from a simple feedstock blend of methanol and DI water. Hydrogen is produced when and where it is needed, at a cost and form factor far superior to that of delivered hydrogen for many applications.
Available in three models, the H-Series Hydrogen Generators produce a range of hydrogen output from 35 sLm to 110 sLm, enough production to service a power range of 1kw-8kw electrical load, and units may be stacked in parallel for additional energy production. All models convert a methanol and water liquid fuel into purified hydrogen gas to support the hydrogen requirements of today’s PEM fuel cell systems.
Universal Integration
The H-Series Hydrogen Generator systems are modular, field upgradeable, field serviceable, and designed for reliability, long autonomy and minimal maintenance.
The models feature a universal user-friendly interface and are packaged for mounting into a standard 19-inch rack for easy integration with the PEM fuel cell within the customer cabinet. The cabinet should be well ventilated and can be sited in either an indoor or outdoor application. Multiple reformers can fit within a 19-inch rack providing for redundant and scalable hydrogen production that can support fuel cell electrical power up to a 15 kW load within a small footprint.
Together with a PEM fuel cell, the H-Series Hydrogen Generator is the ideal solution for telecommunications towers other installations that require dependable backup power for extended run times of several days to several weeks. By generating hydrogen onsite, on demand, the need for delivery and storage of bottled hydrogen is eliminated, making fuel cell power the preferred UPS solution.
