Methanol Reformer (MR) and Element 1® Corporation (e1) are pleased to highlight the recent announcement by their strategic partner in Japan, Mitsubishi Gas Chemical Company, Inc. (MGC), in collaboration with Fuji Electric Co., Ltd.

The two companies will study the development and demonstration of a power generation system that integrates fuel cells and hydrogen generators using methanol as feedstock. This innovative system is expected to deliver clean electric power—both backup and base load—for data centers, factories, and other facilities.

This initiative builds on the strategic collaboration announced in February 2025 between MGC, MR, and e1, and represents another step forward in the shared commitment to create sustainable, efficient, and scalable hydrogen solutions for multiple applications.
